Sydney trio Moving Paths continue their sonic journey with the release of Wake/Drift, a new single recorded with label boss Shoeb Ahmad at Brick Lane in February 2018.

With an array of instruments and electronic gear set up for live play, the trio set upon creating a series of musical experiments that took cues from Ahmad's loose directives and the relaxed yet focused approach they brought with them to the studio.

Pulled from a session inspired by late night basement jams, these two cuts could easily recall the spirit of Alice Coltrane, Talk Talk, Oneohtrix Point Never, Mission Of Burma or This Heat but it is their own unique approach in full exploratory flight.
