Led by singer-songwriter, Paddy Mann, of revered alt-folk group Grand Salvo, and acclaimed composer/trumpeter/sound artist Peter Knight, leader of the Australian Art Orchestra (trumpet and electronics) along with highly regarded Australian contemporary classical/jazz musicians Joe Talia (drums & Revox B77 tape machine) Erik Griswold (toy piano & prepared piano), Vanessa Tomlinson (junk percussion, marimba & vibraphone) and Andrew Brooks (saxophone), Daughter's Fever spins haunted folk, ambient pop and free improvised textures into an other-worldly place similarly inhabited by David Sylvian, Mark Hollis and Dean Roberts.

Forget the rat race of "originality", you'll find plenty of difference and exuberance in this old music. Texture, inflection, timbre, tonal range, rhythm, everything is here to be discovered anew and appreciated as music before originality was anyone's concern. Listen to this album on headphones, the recording is superb. Cosmographer
A masterclass in restrained, synth sound-scaping, this album is simply gorgeous. Saturated ambient tones, gentle evolving harmonies and subtle loops combine to create something totally magical. I can’t say enough good stuff about this LP. Respect! Super Super Sounds
A genre-defying fusion of experimental electronic and modern classical.
Robinson's sense of musical dynamics are brilliant. These pieces are often extremely sparse, but he shades their simplicity with deft touches that add layers of complexity.
I love albums that defy classification, yet feel entirely natural; albums that pull the unfamiliar into the light.
This is a truly outstanding example of one of those albums. Michael Mueller
