Brisbane's Feet Teeth continue their journey into the sonic abyss with Bruxus, one half of a double set of music recorded during sessions at Queensland Conservatorium in 2014 and released as individual albums on hellosQuare and by the group themselves.
The trio shape their musical inclinations with trumpet blasts, fizzling homemade electronics and scraping percussion while guests Kahl Monticone, Erik Griswold (Clocked Out, Daughter's Fever) and Timothy Tate (Ensemble Fabrique) imbue this record with a sense of ballast as they head into a free-rock setting, placing them alongside groups like Jackie-O-Motherfucker and No Neck Blues Band with influence from pioneering electro-acoustic improvisers AMM.
